1. Who We Are

Bakery Tracker is operated by Paths Cross LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through the Bakery Tracker mobile app and its associated customer-facing ordering website, and how we use, store, and protect it.

2. What We Collect

Account Information

• Email address, username, and password (passwords are hashed; we never see the plain-text version)
• Currency preference (selected once at signup and locked thereafter)
• Profile photo (optional)
• Timestamp and version of Terms accepted at registration

Your Business Data (you own this)

• Ingredients, brands, stock quantities, and costs
• Recipes, menu items, and item photos you upload
• Sales, bake, purchase, and waste records
• Operating costs and expense categories
• Fundraiser campaigns and activity
• Invoice and receipt history
• Business name, address, contact info, and logo

Customer Order Data (if you enable the ordering feature)

• Customer names, contact information, and delivery addresses submitted through your public ordering page
• Order line items, totals, payment method preferences, and notes
• Loyalty data: customer email, points balance, earned rewards, and redemption records

Usage Analytics

• Anonymous, aggregate feature-usage events (e.g. “opened Reports screen”) not linked to your name, email, or account in any way
• No device advertising IDs, precise location, or behavioral profiles are collected

AI Feature Data (Pro only)

• Text you type and photos you attach when using AI tools are sent to a third-party AI service to process your request
• That AI service does not train its models on API data
• We do not store the content of your AI sessions beyond what you explicitly save within the app

3. How We Use Your Data

• To sync your bakery data across devices and support offline operation
• To generate invoices and receipts in PDF format
• To operate the customer ordering and loyalty features on your behalf
• To send verification, password-reset, and staff invitation emails
• To process and manage your Pro subscription
• To improve the app through anonymous, aggregate analytics
• To respond to support requests you initiate

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build behavioral profiles. We do not sell your data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the app: a cloud database and file storage provider for your bakery data and photos, a subscription management service for Pro billing, an AI processing service for Pro AI features (which receives only the text or photos you explicitly submit to those tools), and a transactional email service for verification and invitation messages. Each provider processes only the data necessary for its function and is contractually bound to protect your information.

5. Storage, Security, and Offline Use

• Your data is stored in a managed cloud database with row-level security; your data is isolated from other users at the database level
• The app maintains a local cache on your device for offline use; this cache is wiped when you sign out
• Photos are stored in a private cloud storage folder tied to your account
• All connections use TLS encryption in transit
• When offline, writes are queued locally and uploaded the next time you connect; your local changes are never overwritten by a cloud pull

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Anonymous analytics events are retained in aggregate for up to 12 months.

7. Your Rights

Regardless of your location, you may:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data (via Profile → Delete Account, or by contacting us)
• Opt out of AI features at any time (via Profile → AI Settings)

8. Children

Bakery Tracker is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We will revise the effective date when this policy is updated. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
